Hey there! I’m Abbey—medical mom, chaos coordinator, and your new internet friend who totally understands what it’s like to juggle doctor appointments, therapy schedules, and everything in between. If you’re here, chances are you’re in the thick of it too, and let me just say—you’re not alone.
I started this blog because when my twins were born at 25 weeks, I was thrown into the deep end of medical parenting with no roadmap, no guide, and definitely no manual for balancing it all. One of my twins has cerebral palsy, the other has a feeding disorder, and our lives revolve around feeding tubes, therapy sessions, and figuring out how to squeeze a little fun into the mix.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by medical paperwork, scheduling appointments, or just trying to have a “normal” day, you’re in the right place. I’m here to share everything I’ve learned (and am still learning) about navigating this wild world with a little humor, a lot of coffee, and some real talk.
What You’ll Find Here
- Practical Tips: From managing medical schedules to handling insurance headaches.
- Relatable Stories: Because sometimes, you just need to know someone else gets it.
- Free Resources: Checklists, templates, and tools to help lighten the load.
- Encouragement: A reminder that you’re doing an amazing job (even when it doesn’t feel like it).
